Hajj From Canada Process

A New Dawn for Hajj Pilgrims – Comprehensive Guide

The spiritual journey of Hajj is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many, and we at Falcon Travel are committed to ensuring it’s a memorable one. We’re excited to share some pivotal updates and guide you through the upcoming Hajj season.

A Brief Look Back

In 2022, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia embarked on a new venture. They transitioned from traditional service providers to a direct-to-customer model through a platform named Al-Motawif. Designed to offer Hujaj from North America, Europe, and Australia the opportunity to explore and book Hajj packages, the platform faced challenges in its debut year.

Introducing Nusuk: The Future of Hajj Bookings

The year 2023 brought with it a wave of positive change. The Ministry introduced Nusuk, a platform that promises a significant upgrade from its predecessor. With a focus on user experience, Nusuk has partnered with local Saudi companies to ensure every pilgrim receives personalized care. These collaborations have led to the appointment of dedicated guides in various countries to assist the Hujaj.

We’re proud to announce that Falcon Travel is among the chosen few, entrusted with the responsibility of guiding our beloved Hujaj. Falcon Travel operating under HajjFromCanada Guide Team was able to assist most of the Hujaj who went to Hajj in 2022.

Your Step-by-Step Guide to a Fulfilling Hajj Experience

Step 1 | Passport Check

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your departure date.

Step 2 | Create an account on Nusuk Hajj

Register on the Nusuk Hajj platform. Remember, there are separate platforms for Hajj and Umrah.

We’ve created a handy visual guide to assist you through the process. Click here to access the guide.

Important Notes:

  1. Ensure travelers in each account are Muherms or will stay together.
  2. Both men and women can be the main applicant.
  3. Add the main applicant’s information first, followed by companions.
  4. Nusuk accepts Canadian Citizens and PR Card holders.
  5. Prepare scanned copies of your passport, PR Card (both sides, if applicable), and a personal photo.
  6. Adhere to the specified dimensions and sizes for uploads:
The passport and the PR Card have the same required dimension and size (.jpg picture with W: 614 pixel, H: 400 pixel, Size: ~150 kb).
The personal picture should be colored with a white background. A hijab is not required but it is recommended. The dimension and size (.jpg picture with W: 200 pixel, H: 200 pixel, Size: ~12 kb)
  7. If resizing images is challenging, reach out to us for free assistance.

Step 3 | Trust in Experience

Your Hajj journey is invaluable. Place your trust in Falcon Travel, Canada’s most seasoned Hajj guide. We were the guide for most of the Hujaj who went to Hajj from Canada in 2022 and operate under the HajjFromCanada Guide Team.

Step 4 | Choose Your Hajj Package

Once the packages are announced on Nusuk, your guide will tell you which packages they are supporting so that you can choose from. When choosing a Hajj package, you have to know the following:

  1. Is price a deciding factor or not? As there are two types of levels for all the Hujaj from Canada (we call them camps) Camp A and Camp C. Camp A is right across of Jamarat in Mina where we perform Hajj, and Camp C is 4KM from Jamarat. Obviously Camp A is more expensive than Camp C.
  2. Is being across or within walking distance from Al-Haram, a deciding factor? In Hajj there are some hotels across of Al-Haram or within walking distance to Al-Haram, while other hotels are far from Al-Haram but offer shuttle buses to/from Al-Haram.
  3. How long is your package? Some packages are 3 weeks long, some packages are more than 3 weeks, and the shortage package from Canada is 2 weeks long. You will need to decide which duration is suitable for you according to your vacation days.

There are the main deciding factors which will help you to choose the best Hajj package that suits you. Luckly, we assist the Saudi service provider in designing the Hajj packages, therefore we ensure we have all types of packages (Camp A or Camp C – Long or short – Close to Al-Haram or a bit far) this way we cover all Hujaj needs.

Step 5 | Paying for your Hajj Package

According to the process in 2023, Nusuk will be offering two different ways to pay for your Hajj package:

Note: You will be asked to pay for everyone under your Nusuk profile

  1. Credit Card including visa or MasterCard: If you choose credit card, you will be able to make ONE payment for the full amount. If the payment fails, you will lose the places you booked on Nusuk. Therefore, if you are planning to use credit card, we recommend talking with your bank to increase your online purchasing limit and to advice them that you will be paying a big amount so they don’t block the transaction.
  2. Wire Transfer: Nusuk will provide you with a structure payments but we recommend you pay the whole amount at once. For this, you will need some banking information which Nusuk will provide you with, and then you will need to visit your bank to make the wire transfer. If you choose to pay by wire transfer, BE SURE you receive a confirmation email from Nusuk BEFORE you send any money.

Step 6 | Get Your Hajj Visa and Airline Ticket

Once the payment is done, Nusuk will process your Hajj visa and airline ticket. You will first get your Hajj visa then you will get the airline ticket a week or so before your departure. Please note that Canadian citizens get their visa processed before PR cards. Also the main applicants will get their visa processed before the companions.

In conclusion, the path to Hajj has been simplified, ensuring that pilgrims can focus on their spiritual journey. At Falcon Travel, we’re honored to play a role in this sacred pilgrimage. May your intentions be blessed, and may we all be fortunate to answer His call for Hajj.

May Allah (SWT) accept your intentions and invite us and you to his house for Hajj, Allahuma Amin.
